As spiritual families, we lift one another up.
Even when all else fails,
in the face of despair and powerlessness,
everyone of us loves eveyone of us.we clothe each other's nakedness.
We give strength to each other's weakness.
we give ourselves to one another . . .
"Mother here is your son,
son here is your mother."
John held Mary in his arms,
they held the pain in their eyes,
like a sword piercing their heart.
To look upon the one they loved most . . .

Already Mary pondered the deeper meaning of it, as she clenched the wooden beads of pomegranate blossoms
that her son once carved for her. Jesus honored the Father in heaven, and he honored his Mother on earth before breathing out his soul. Both Mary and John would be in that room, the day the Holy Spirit came to comfort them, igniting a pentecostal flame and uniting the one spiritual family.

When Jesus then saw his mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, "Woman, behold yor son!" Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother!" From that hour the disciple took her into his own household.
John 19:26,27
