Nature Psalms
. . . . . . .

The beauty of nature,
the very  poetry of God.
His serene canvas,
palette, and wonderous
design.

heartstream

Everything that touches the heartstream
causes aripple in the depths of a soul

where one heart knows the pulse of another
the deluge that sets upon our soul,
along with allt he murky water we step into,
is swept away by the heartstream

the scent and movement of the waters
is like a thousand summers to my soul
course, flow, surge, swift clear crystal move freely

humanity dips her heart into the poetry of God

Natasha Westrich Wood

Natasha's floral woodcuts are
deeply imbedded with
representations of subconcious
struggle, conflict and resolution.
Her  flowers in bloom become
vibrant icons symbolizing personal
events and passages.

As an Art Therapist, Natasha
encourages children to articulate
through art,  the things locked
deep within them. Things  that
would find no escape in words.

with our hearts layed out upon a misty mountain altar we reveal in pain of honesty the innermost folds of our heart.  In the healing flame of love the smoke of purgation burns and the scent of annointing where faith is ordained pure

fragrant trees bring forth their
incense for liturgies of praise

The climb to the high places
of love require a savior's salve
to season and preserve our hearts
for endurance and exertion.

Genesis of the Heart

In the garden we were woven into a spiral of peace
we had a beautiful place in the wheel of life . . .
the mineral kingdom . . .  the plant kingdom . . .
the wingeds . . .  the things of the sea . . .
the four legged . . .
We we the crown of creation
the angels ministered to us
earth    wind    fire    water

Yet we disrupted the wheel when we ignored the Creator
we put ourselves in the center
and love stopped driving the wheel

We had to leave our garden
love must now labor in the fields as we spiral back to our Creator
He offers us the elements of love to renew our world
angels to administer harmony
so love will once again turn the wheel

In the Garden

Giant Tortoises soak in the stream of this famous garden . . .

In the garden of our beginning
the perfect partner
the perfect home
whether story or metaphor
we dream of our first home
the glowing tree of life
filtering the sun
the gentle stream to soothe us
gentle giants walked among us
giant tortoises soak like boulders
in the current
we sat in each others arms
in pools of laughter

Everything was already there
the youth of our soul
the springtime of our heart
a violet twilight
held bak the darkness
In the garden of our beginning
